This beautiful rustic home boasts fantastic panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and historical ruins throughout the entire 40 acre property, including its own sugar mill. Beautiful expanded solid surface island and surrounding counter tops perfect for cooking up a storm and hosting magnificent parties and events. GE Profile washer and Dryer in laundry room with extra refrigerator just beside the kitchen.
Walk through to the comfortable great room which is wide open to the spacious screened in balcony overlooking the best postcard view Caribbean sunsets and sea views. Historic horse stable ruins adorn the boundaries of the West wing.
Enjoy the waterfront covered breezeway just steps from your master suite. This balcony facing the ocean and centered to the courtyard is perfect for outdoor dining and morning coffee. Offers a nice large table and rocking chairs, a 6 burner gas grill with attached one pot burner for cooking side dishes or breaking out the Lobster pot! This is one of everyone’s favorite spots on the property.
Grandiose Master suite with comfortable King sized bed and newly installed air conditioning. This spacious suite offers a nice lounging area with a 2021 54 inch Samsung smart TV and a couch that folds down to make a queen sized bed if extra sleeping area is needed. Panoramic views of the ocean and Sugarmill complete with another sitting area with beautiful antique round table and rocking chairs. Master bathroom has a beautiful solid surface bathtub and separate shower with ocean views. A really nice retreat from the rest of the home.
Another bedroom down the hallway from the master suite with queen size bed, TV and newly installed A/C. This bedroom has access to courtyard and balcony, as well as ocean and courtyard views. As aforementioned, two other large bedrooms have two queen beds in each bedroom and newly installed air conditioning. Plenty of closet space for everyone to store their things.
This house is white and bright and airy and beachy and fresh, and it’s so relaxing with hammocks throughout. Bring your family’s and or your friends. Plenty of space to make it all happen.
“ The magic place” Awaits your arrival to explore historical ruins over 350 years old. Enjoy walks to the sugar mill and swims on the beach about a five minute walk from your front door unless you find a secret path to the beach right out front fit for skilled divers and expert swimmers. Dive the pipeline full of history and treasures... this body of water is one of very few in the world with the deepest ocean floors in proximity to land. It housed a very intelligent Aqua culture marine station studying aquaculture, marine life, and more. Rust op Twist was named the number one spot in the world for Ocean Thermal energy. Top Marine experts from Columbia University, New York, NY and the University of Texas at Austin, TX to name a few spent many years studying these Ocean floors. My grandmother was a scientist, marine biologist and flew supplies and food drops during the war. Her vision, brilliance and presence can be felt from the sugar mill.
Bird watching is a must, housing a bird sanctuary on the estate. There is just life and magic everywhere you go on this property, watching hundreds of Caterpillars morph into majestic butterflies is just another daily thing. Yoga at the sugar mill is bliss and one of two of the best spots on the island to catch both the sunrise and sunset as featured on the bachelor.
If you love turtles you may just be lucky enough to swim with them or see an occasional whale during season. This hauntingly beautiful estate sits on the National Heritage Trail. Find time to journal, for peace, serenity, and go inwards. Inspiration is everywhere.
