Summary: While there are improvements one could ask for in the overall rental property there is no reason why you would not want to stay here. A Beautiful view, house is spacious and airy, bedrooms have have AC and beds were comfortable. The host was prompt in responding by text to issues about the house. The bad news is that several of the issues should not have been issues in the first place. The place is hard to find. It has an actual street address, but on St. Croix street addresses mean little. We were able to get directions by texting the host but even then we missed some landmarks. There were a number of aspects about the house we had to figure out on our own - which key fits which lock, which wall switch turns on which light or ceiling fan, we had to text the owner to learn the Wi-Fi network and password information. These are the kinds of basic information that one takes for granted in rental properties and could easily have been detailed in a simple guest information packet. These negative aspects of our experience are things that can be remedied, and they did not outweigh enjoying the beauty and comfort of the house itself. We would gladly return to this house on our next trip to St Croix, and would recommend it to anyone else .
