Each guest will have private access to the entire villa. Whether you are booking for 2 guests, or 10.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the peaceful hills of Upper Carolina, the villa offers the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience.
Approximately 10 minutes to the beautiful beaches of Maho Bay and Francis Bay
About 10 minutes to Coral Bay, where you'll find small grocery stores, restaurants, and local shops
Approximately 25 minutes to Cruz Bay, the island's main town with additional dining, shopping, and ferry access
Although St. John is only 9 miles long and 5 miles wide, travel times are longer than you might expect due to the island's winding, steep, and narrow roads. The drive is all part of the island experience, with breathtaking scenery around every turn and plenty of opportunities to spot local wildlife along the way. Keep an eye out for donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens, deer, and even the occasional cow - you never know who you might encounter on your drive!
Other Things to Note:
* Air conditioning is available in all four bedrooms, and in the living room with the sofa bed.
* The loft and main level living areas are cooled by fans and the Caribbean breeze
* The lower level is accessed via the exterior, making it ideal for guests who appreciate additional privacy.
* Located in the desirable Upper Carolina neighborhood, with completely paved access directly to the villa, you'll enjoy a peaceful setting while remaining just a short drive from the restaurants, shops, and beaches, with the world-famous North Shore beaches only an 8 minute scenic drive away.
* House is equipped with beach chairs, towels, and coolers
* St. John is a truly special place, and many of its natural resources are limited. Because there is no natural freshwater source on the island, rainwater is the primary source of water for most homes, including ours. We kindly ask our guests to be mindful of their water usage.
* Electricity on the island is also more limited and costly than many visitors are accustomed to. We appreciate your help by turning off lights, fans, and air conditioning when they're not in use and keeping doors and windows closed while the AC is running.
* Unfortunately power outages do happen unexpectedly on the island however we have a solar-powered backup battery system which automatically provides power during an outage to minimize the interruption.
* High-speed Starlink internet throughout
