Outside Sugar Bird features immediate access to the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea, which lap gently onto the Carina Bay shoreline just 50 feet away from this beachfront villa. Snorkel to Carina Bay’s own barrier reef which comes all the way into the shoreline just west of the house. You have easy beach access to it, at just 600 yards west of Sugar Bird. Or just relax all day—but remember to watch for Dolphins inside the reef! Talk to the local fishermen who is mooring right next door allows you first choice of their fresh catch of Red Snapper, Lobsters, and other fresh local seafood. Recipe for Snapper—stuff and cover with chopped garlic and lemons, salt and pepper to taste, wrap in tin foil and put on grill for 3/4 hour at low heat.

Have a sailing and snorkeling adventure to Buck Island National Park with its fabulous beaches and reefs or stand on the spot where Christopher Columbus landed on his second trip to America in 1493 …and then take a sea kayak trip through the Mangrove coves of Salt River National Park.
