Situated in a quiet neighborhood up on St. John's fourth highest peak, Gifft Hill, this bright and cozy upper unit cottage is an ideal location to enjoy St. John's amazing natural beauty. Our Cottage is two miles from Cruz Bay, as well as the stunning beaches and hiking trails in the US Virgin Islands National Park. Mountain Breeze Cottage offers lots of outdoor living space with majestic views east looking out to the National Park's southern shore and to the west the lights of St Thomas.
The Space:
The unique quality of Mountain Breeze is the fact that it sits atop one of the largest mountains on St. John and is home to one of the few villas where guests can watch the sunrise and sunset from the comfort of their own space. And if you time it right, the full moon rises are equally as spectacular!
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the upstairs unit (two bedroom/1 bathroom) and all the surrounding yard and patio space. A unique quality of Mountain Breeze is the large patches of smooth, grassy areas which is both rare for St. John and great for visiting families!
The Neighborhood:
Situated atop Gifft Hill, Mountain Breeze Cottage borders the hills of the National Park offering unobstructed views of the National Park; the southshore beaches; St. Croix; and the Caribbean Ocean. This quiet neighborhood, approximately 10 minutes from the heart of Cruz Bay, is great for guests seeking a private residence.
Getting Around:
A rental vehicle is strongly suggested. St. John has a very hilly terrain that makes it very difficult to navigate on foot. Taxis are available, however, a rental vehicle is best when staying on St. John.

Mountain Breeze Cottage is an ideal family vacation rental. This cozy hilltop home is close enough to the hustle and bustle of Cruz Bay, but far enough to immerse oneself in the natural sights and sounds of St. John.
