THE SPACE
Lushly landscaped resort, with plenty of activities to keep your entire group entertained. Relax in the sparkling infinity pool with a water slide, keep up with your workout routine at the fitness center, dine al fresco at the poolside restaurant, or discover family-friendly activities for all ages.
Comfortable and spacious 2BR/2BA villas featuring an open Living and Dining area, with Queen sized Sleeper sofa, and large furnished Balcony. At the end of each day, gather the family together to enjoy your favorite movie or whip up a quick snack in your fully-equipped Kitchen, with Stove, Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave, Toaster, Coffee Maker, etc.
Master Bedroom has a King size bed, and oversized Master Bath with large Garden Tub and large Walk In Shower. The Second bedroom has 2 Queen beds with access to a second Bathroom with Shower and Tub.
There is also a Washer / Dryer in your unit.
In addition to the on-site direct beach access, you are only a short drive from some of the most popular beaches in the Caribbean where you can enjoy boating, scuba diving, snorkeling and windsurfing. Beaches are literally minutes away so you can visit them all including easy ferry rides to St. John and the British Virgin Islands (Tortola and Virgin Gorda).
The island itself offers a wonderful assortment of duty-free shopping, great restaurants, hot night spots, and a variety of local flavor to satisfy every taste. This resort features history, breathtaking views, and easy access to town.
GUEST ACCESS
Your unit is private, but since this is a Resort property, Amenities will be shared with other guests (Pools, Games, Outdoor spaces, etc).
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
- Primary Guest checking in must be at least 21 years of age with a valid ID and credit card for security deposit. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions to this minimum age requirement for the primary Guest who will be checking in. Your security deposit will be returned to you after Check Out if you have not made any charges to your room.
- Marriott's Frenchman's Cove is professionally managed and operated by Marriott Vacations Club. The Front Desk is staffed 24/7 for Check-In, Check-Out, and is available for any questions, issues, or need for assistance. They are there to help so please don’t hesitate to contact them during your stay.
- Two Free parking passes are included with this unit. If you need a parking pass for an additional vehicle you can arrange this directly with the Front Desk for an additional fee.
- Bedding linens, blankets, pillows are provided, as are bath towels. If you need additional items or want fresh bedding linens or towels during your stay, please contact the Front Desk.
- There is no daily housekeeping provided. However there is a Washer / Dryer located inside your unit. If additional housekeeping is desired during your stay it is available for an additional fee scheduled directly with the resort Front Desk.
- Pool towels are provided for free, and they can be exchanged for fresh ones on an unlimited basis.
- BEACH / SNORKEL GEAR: There are many beaches in St Thomas and the USVI (i.e. St John just a short 10-15 minute ferry ride away) that are stunning in their beauty and fantastic for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. And many are semi-secluded, which adds to their beauty, but also means you won't have access to commercial stores and restaurants while at the Beach.
Since most Guests will be flying, what to bring can be a tricky question due to the additional baggage required. For example, if your family owns and likes larger beach towels, you may consider bringing them, along with any other beach blankets / chairs / umbrellas / coolers / equipment you want at the beach. If you do bring your own equipment, size and weight will factor into that decision. You may even consider purchasing specialty lightweight beach gear for easier packing. If you don’t bring your own beach chairs, umbrellas, equipment, etc you can also rent the equipment on St Thomas.
** Environmental/Infrastructure Impact Fee: $175 Extra per Week
The USVI government assesses a US$25 per-night, per-villa Environmental / Infrastructure Impact Fee to vacation ownership Guests, as implemented in 2016. This fee is based on the villa being occupied and will be added to the Guest folio at check-out. Please be aware this additional charge (which totals $175 for the week) is not being charged by me (the Owner) or by the Resort (Bluebeard's Castle). This is a fee the USVI government assesses per day / per unit and applies to everyone. This will be billed to you directly by the Resort, and will be separate (and in addition) to any fees paid for this booking via AirBnB.
** Chemical Sunscreen Ban:
Please be advised that effective Jan. 1, 2021, the U.S. Virgin Islands will be restricting the sale and distribution of reef-damaging topical sunscreen products containing oxybenzone and octinoxate (Bill No. 33 0043). Only licensed pharmacies or drugstores will be able to dispense these sunscreen products. Use is prohibited unless prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider.
