Just a short ferry ride from St.Thomas, 7 minutes to be exact!, Water Island is a respite from the hustle and bustle of St.Thomas, yet completely accessible to all that the islands have to offer.
Lil Sugarbird sleeps 8 comfortably. 2 private bedrooms with large ensuite bathrooms in 2 separate ‘pods’ all under one roof. The main house includes the kitchen, living room (with queen sleeper sofa), laundry, and King bedroom. Perfect for a family of 4.
Across the attached open air breezeway is the 2 queen bed suite, which offers a private entrance and direct access to pool from its own balcony area. Also sleeps 4 comfortably.
Freshly painted and redecorated in calming neutrals, enjoy plush linens and luxe bedding throughout. Plenty of seating indoors and out to accommodate large groups and provide comfortable spaces to relax and unwind.
Cool off in the 38ft. saltwater infinity pool with views of Puerto Rico’s Culebra and Vieques islands. Swim laps or just float and unwind after a day at the beach or out on excursions around the islands.
Enjoy al fresco meals from the outdoor kitchen with dining for 8. Take in the constant breeze and sounds that remind you that you’re in the islands. Tree frogs and roosters below, parrots and hummingbirds swooping by from treetop to treetop while you sip your coffee each morning.
Lil Sugarbird is truly the best location on the island! No need to drive! Walk to the beach, walk to the ferry, or walk to Heidi's Hilltop Grill for the island's famous fish tacos, burgers and Bushwackers! Of course, you can always rent a golf cart from Rachel’s Rentals, which does make it easier to get yourself back up the hill from the beach and cruise around to discover rest of our little lovely island!
Enjoy sunsets with perfect western views from the wraparound veranda with upscale furnishings and comfortable spots to read alone or catch up with friends over a Pina Colada! Evening backgammon tournaments are a family favorite for us!
There’s also plenty to keep the active traveler busy…head to the beach with the new stand-up paddleboards, go for a long walk or jog and discover the many winding roads and island views, or grab the snorkel gear and swim with the sea turtles, and then maybe relax at the beach! Borrow a book from our library and pack a lunch, beach towels, umbrella and chairs. It’s pretty easy to settle in here and allow the slow island vibes to relax you.
