Please be advised that effective Jan. 1, 2021, the U.S. Virgin Islands will be restricting the sale and distribution of reef-damaging topical sunscreen products containing oxybenzone and octinoxate (Bill No. 33‑0043). Only licensed pharmacies or drugstores will be able to dispense these sunscreen products. Use is prohibited unless prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider.
• As of Dec. 31, 2019, the importing of products with the banned chemicals for sale will be illegal.
• As of Sept. 30, 2020, the selling, offering for sale and distributing of products with these chemicals will be illegal.
• As of Jan. 1, 2021, the use, possession or bringing of products with these chemicals into the U.S. Virgin Islands will be illegal.

** Environmental/Infrastructure Impact Fee:

** The Main Pool and whirlpool spa will be closed for refurbishment from Aug. 2026 through Nov. 2026. During this time, the beach and food and beverage service will remain open. This work will be executed from Monday through Saturday each week and we anticipate some noise between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
** The majority of the units at Westin St. John are assigned at check-in. You will not know exactly where the unit is located until you check-in. Once your name is added to the reservation, you can call Westin directly to put in any requests that you have. In some instances, the owner is deeded a specific unit. In those circumstances, the villa number will be included on the confirmation letter sent out to you and room requests will not be able to be made.
